Headin’ To The Sticks…

This morning I was offered and accepted a Graduate Assistant position at West Virginia University. We are moving to Pennsylvania shortly after I graduate from Covenant in May. In the Fall I will begin a Master of Arts in History, then a Doctorate in History thereafter. The MA will hopefully take 3 semesters, then I’ll start PhD studies Fall 2008.
Jen and I are both excited about the opportunity and can’t wait for what is in store for us in this second act of our great journey together.

After my “informal degrees” at WVU, I went to PCC and earned another one.

I’ve posted four straight posts, all to say I’m stoked for a variety of reasons. PCC grads have to work extra hard to earn respect, Fundamentalism needs some objective, scholarly examination… and now I have a legitimate reason to go to Morgantown again.

Delete the other crap I posted :)

The Blue and Gold looks good on you. I am about 45 min south of you in a little town of Clarksburg/Bridgeport.

I attend a church that is in Fairmont, WV that has a minister who is a recent graduate of Covenant. Real nice guy.
